Camp Lakeview: Where Children Discover Faith
For more than 60 years, Camp Lakeview has been a place where children encounter the love of Christ through outdoor adventure, authentic friendships, and a caring Christian community. For many campers, this is where faith takes root, confidence blossoms, and lifelong memories emerge.
The For Generations to Come campaign is strengthening every part of that experience—from the first welcome to the final campfire. Together, these projects will help Lakeview serve more children, care for them well, and prepare for generations of ministry ahead.
A Stronger Welcome
A camper’s first experience often shapes everything that follows. Clear directional signage, updated facilities, thoughtful landscaping, and improved sidewalks and parking will create a welcoming first impression for every child and family. Together, these improvements will not only beautify the property but also make arrival easier and improve accessibility throughout camp—helping every guest feel comfortable, confident, and ready for the experience ahead.
Spaces for Community
Some of camp’s most meaningful moments happen between activities—sharing meals, laughing with cabin mates, singing together, and simply spending time in Christian community.
The Recreation Center provides year-round space for worship, recreation, and retreats, while planned Dining Hall renovations will create a welcoming place where campers, families, and guests gather around the table for years to come.

Investments in cabins, bathhouses, recreational areas, and program spaces will create safer, more comfortable, and more engaging environments where campers can explore God’s creation, build friendships, and develop confidence through unforgettable experiences.

Sewer system improvements, expanded utilities, equipment, storage, maintenance, and operational upgrades will increase camp capacity, strengthen daily operations, and ensure Camp Lakeview is prepared to serve future generations with excellence.
